About This Architecture
SAP S/4HANA on AWS with IntelliDocX AL-AWS integrates on-premise SAP systems with AWS cloud infrastructure across two availability zones for high availability and disaster recovery. Traffic flows through AWS WAF, CloudFront, and Route 53 to Application Load Balancers terminating HTTPS/TLS, routing requests to Elastic Beanstalk-hosted IntelliDocX AL-AWS instances with auto-scaling EC2 t3.large servers. On-premise SAP S/4HANA connects via AWS Direct Connect and Network Firewall to isolated VPC subnets, while Microsoft Entra ID provides identity federation and CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and S3 archive logs and audit trails. This architecture demonstrates secure, scalable hybrid SAP workload management with encryption via AWS KMS and secrets via AWS Secrets Manager.
