About This Architecture
Industrial label printing system with edge LAN local server syncing to central Oracle database via WAN and firewall. Workstations on VLAN 10 submit print jobs through .NET web application to local SQLite/SQL Server Express queue, where Print Worker Service routes jobs via BarTender engine to network printers A, B, C on VLAN 30. Sync Worker Service asynchronously replicates print data from local database to central Oracle backend through Edge Router, Central Router, and Firewall to VLAN 100 application layer. This architecture isolates printer operations locally for low-latency performance while maintaining centralized audit, monitoring, and data consistency across distributed sites.
