The Veeam VBR Server in the management subscription coordinates Veeam Azure Appliances across corp and SAP subscriptions, capturing managed disk snapshots from workload VMs into a Scale-Out Backup Repository with performance and capacity tiers. Backup data flows through Repo Servers with managed disk storage for hot access and cool blob storage with immutability locks for long-term retention, encrypted via Key Vault. This design isolates blast radius across subscriptions while maintaining centralized control, meeting enterprise backup SLAs and compliance requirements.
