About This Architecture
Multi-AZ hospital management system on AWS with Route 53 DNS, CloudFront CDN, and WAF protecting patient, doctor, and admin access across two availability zones. Traffic flows through Internet Gateway and Application Load Balancers to EC2 instances running patient registration and appointments, Lambda billing functions, and ECS medical records containers, all backed by RDS Primary/Standby databases and ElastiCache session replication. RDS Primary replicates to RDS Standby across AZ-2, while medical documents are encrypted in S3 with KMS, and Secrets Manager secures credentials alongside CloudWatch monitoring and CloudTrail audit logging.
