Accessibility Statement

Last updated: February 2026

Diagrams.so is committed to making architecture diagramming accessible to everyone. We strive to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA.

What we do

Our website and application include: semantic HTML throughout all pages, keyboard-navigable interfaces, ARIA labels on interactive elements, sufficient color contrast in both light and dark modes, reduced-motion support for users who prefer it, and screen reader-friendly content structure.

Known limitations

The diagram editor relies on visual rendering which may not be fully accessible via screen reader. We are exploring text-based diagram descriptions and alternative output formats to address this. Generated .drawio files can be opened in Draw.io which has its own accessibility features.

Feedback

If you encounter accessibility barriers, please contact us at success@diagrams.so. We take accessibility feedback seriously and will work to address issues promptly.
